Christmas is just around the corner and our adoptable pets have a wish list for Santa! If you would like to help PCF pets this season, please take a look at this wish list of some of our most-needed items. Supplies are always needed and they can be dropped off at Pets Come First. Thank you!

We would like to thank Weis and all of the generous supporters who took part in the recent Paws for Pets program, sponsored by Weis Markets, to help area animal shelters!  PCF received Weis gift cards through this program that will help us to care for the region’s homeless pets and we are grateful to everyone who participated!

A huge thanks to the wonderful Penn State students who spent the Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Caring helping out at the Pets Come First adoption center.  Read about their experience in this CDT article.  We loved having them join us for the day!

Please note that in order to better meet our customers’ needs, we have adjusted our Sunday hours to 12:30 to 4:30 pm.  Hours on the other days remain the same.  You can stop in and meet our adoptable pets during the following times:

Thursdays 1:00 – 7:00 pm
Fridays 11 am – 4:00 pm
Saturdays 11 am – 4:00 pm
Sundays 12:30 – 4:30 pm

Do you have a list for Santa?  Our adoptable pets do!

If you are interested in donating supplies this holiday season, they are always needed and can be dropped off at Pets Come First.  Before asking Santa for collars, leashes, or toys, please check out the below list of our most-needed items.

The Fifth Annual Dog Jog turned out beautifully!  The weather was perfect and 256 runners and walkers, along with 156 dogs, joined us for an amazing day! Thank you to all of the runners, walkers, sponsors, vendors, volunteers, Dog Jog committee, and everyone else who helped to make this a wonderful day for all!
