Terrier Mix: An adoptable dog in State College, PA

Dodger is a 11 year old senior terrier. His owner came upon some hard times and gave him to a co-worker with a young, active family. The household was too busy for Dodger and there was talk of euthanizing him. Pets Come First took Dodger to a local kennel and he is doing great and is actually a nice little dog. He just needs a quiet home to enjoy his remaining years. Great companion dog for a senior or retired couple.

Thank you Deb for your kind response to my frantic call yesterday regarding the little black kitten that followed me down Garner Street. I was given your number by Colby W. who gave high praises of your work. I spoke to the women who posted she lost her cat and she has offered to foster the little kitten, and possible will make it a forever home.

Pets Come First, Inc. is strongly committed to our mission of facilitating the placement of stray and unwanted animals into loving homes. We are dedicated to ensuring responsible shelter management within our community, working together to eliminate the critical overpopulation of homeless, stray, and abused animals. Educating our community on the importance of spaying and neutering all animals will decrease the number of surrendered and unwanted animals to area shelters and rescue groups. We work in partnership with other rescues, local & state police, Humane Officers, and Dog Law Enforcement Officers to provide monetary and voluntary resources to support and sponsor local animal programs within our community. We will offer emergency placement, food, and medical services for the pets of approved and responsible low-income families and senior citizens.
