Domestic Longhair/Mix: An adoptable cat in State College, PA

Blackie and Tweety were surrendered for adoption when their owner went into a nursing home. They had an infestation of fleas and lost some hair. They have been treated and they are now on the mend. They are loving and very playful. Blackie greets everyone as they enter the cat room, as if he was choosing his new person. It would be wonderful if both Tweety and Blackie could stay together, but either way they would both appreciate a loving new home.

Thank you PCF for helping us out when we found a serious injured animal. We have found this little cat owners. She is the sweetest thing and doing well. I don’t know what I would have done if your organization hadn’t stepped in. Thank you for all you do in our community.

Thank you Deb for your kind response to my frantic call yesterday regarding the little black kitten that followed me down Garner Street. I was given your number by Colby W. who gave high praises of your work. I spoke to the women who posted she lost her cat and she has offered to foster the little kitten, and possible will make it a forever home.

Pets Come First, Inc. is strongly committed to our mission of facilitating the placement of stray and unwanted animals into loving homes. We are dedicated to ensuring responsible shelter management within our community, working together to eliminate the critical overpopulation of homeless, stray, and abused animals. Educating our community on the importance of spaying and neutering all animals will decrease the number of surrendered and unwanted animals to area shelters and rescue groups. We work in partnership with other rescues, local & state police, Humane Officers, and Dog Law Enforcement Officers to provide monetary and voluntary resources to support and sponsor local animal programs within our community. We will offer emergency placement, food, and medical services for the pets of approved and responsible low-income families and senior citizens.
