Country Concert

Benefit for the Mifflin / Juniata County Pet Pantry and Pets Come First! Saturday, November 18 at the Union Township Building in Belleville featuring Grand Ole Opry artist Johnny Counterfit! Doors open at 5:30pm and the show begins at 6:30pm. Other activities will include an auction, bake sale, and 50/50 raffle. Food will be sold by the Belleville Fire Company.

It has been 2½ months since we adopted Maggie (Lucy) and we are delighted to have her in our life. She is still tremendously fearful and nervous. We hope our love and attention will lead to her feeling secure. Thank you for all your assistance coordinating visits and the final adoption process.

Mission

Pets Come First, Inc. is strongly committed to our mission of facilitating the placement of stray and unwanted animals into loving homes. We are dedicated to ensuring responsible shelter management within our community, working together to eliminate the critical overpopulation of homeless, stray, and abused animals. Educating our community on the importance of spaying and neutering all animals will decrease the number of surrendered and unwanted animals to area shelters and rescue groups. We work in partnership with other rescues, local & state police, Humane Officers, and Dog Law Enforcement Officers to provide monetary and voluntary resources to support and sponsor local animal programs within our community. We will offer emergency placement, food, and medical services for the pets of approved and responsible low-income families and senior citizens.
